The months of April, May, and June are bringing exciting developments to Surf Paws Animal Hospital. Here is a brief overview; Stem Cell therapy in April • Senior Awareness program to honor Mia and Ipo who turn 12 and 8 • Hawaii Pet Expo May 12, and 13th. • May 2012 also marks our 1 year anniversary • 1000th patient, a milestone • Expanding our clinic space and service offerings • Health Advisor (pet food recall)

Stem Cell Therapy

During the month of April, Dr. Miliaresis will be performing the first stem cell therapy procedure on the island using the latest technology available to veterinarians. The latest procedure that will be performed at Surf Paws is much less invasive and less stressful for the dogs with a higher success rate. More information will be provided soon.

Senior Awareness

In honor of Mia, Dr. Miliaresis’ dog turning 12 this April, Surf Paws is offering a senior screening special available to all dogs and cats over the age of 7. The following 3 packages will be available through June 5, 2012.

Hawaii Pet Expo & Puppy Match May 12 & 13 at Blaisdell Center. Please visit our booth. We will be hosting a laser acupuncture demonstrations available for a donation which will benefit Canine Kokua. We will also have some games for the keiki as well as handouts and giveaways.
The 8th annual Hawaii Kai Dog Walk is on June 3, 2012. Surf Paws will be sponsoring and donating our Aloha to the event.

The February Dental special was a very successful campaign. We were able to perform over 70 dental procedures in the very little time. That’s a lot of happier cats and dogs with fresher breath and brighter smiles.
Surf Paws Animal Hospital’s 1 year anniversary is May 5th 2012. We are also nearing our 1000 patient. Someone is going to be surprised!
Surf Paws Animal Hospital will be expanding the clinic area. This space will be used to offer other services we have been waiting to provide to the general public. We will provide more information when we finalize the details.
